Project Overview
Recent transplants to Georgia purchased this home for its great location and size, despite its dated style and finishes. Flipping the family room and kitchen was key to creating a better space for entertaining and relaxing, which also improved the powder room, nearby bar, dining room, and front living room. Functional and cosmetic updates unified the first floor and improved flow. Original floors, windows, doors, and the overall floor plan were preserved, with only a small wall removal, honoring the home's character. Thoughtful material choices blend historic appreciation with modern style, resulting in a timeless, beautifully aging home.
