Project Overview

This midcentury modern home was originally designed by Russell Barr Williamson. The homeowners wanted to create an updated kitchen that would be the center of activity with an open flow to adjacent dining and sitting areas. The design would add a contemporary twist on traditional Prairie style elements while incorporating modern luxury appliances. The final result created a state-of-the-art kitchen-and adjoining entertainment spaces-that are perfect for intimate gatherings or dinner parties. The new interior surrounds the homeowners in modern refinements, dressed in signature Prairie style materials that honor Russell Barr Williamson's legacy and vision.
