2017 NATIONAL CotY Award Winner, Residential Kitchen $100,001 to $150,000
This hillside home was built on a large green belt lot. Expansive views of a preserve adjacent to the property prompted the clients to open up the rear of the home to create a modern, open concept space designed for entertaining. They desired an open, eat-in kitchen with several work spaces that allow for entertaining. Extra tall and deep cabinets were designed for storage. A large, two faucet sink and double dishwashers allows for quick prep and clean-up when catering to larger groups. The island includes seating so people can eat in the new space. Natural maple cabinets, stone countertops and mesquite floors warm up the modern architecture.
