2019 National CotY Award Winner, Residential Kitchen Over $150,000
The clients were unsatisfied with the location of their kitchen because it disrupted their daily routine and lacked natural light. To relocate the kitchen between the back two-story family room and front dining room, a load bearing wall between the old breakfast room and the adjacent family room was removed, creating a seamless connection between the new kitchen and the rest of the space. Additional load bearing walls were removed to place the main sink area under large windows with backyard views. The large island is a focal point. Design elements include custom inset cabinetry, exotic stone counter tops, professional-grade appliances, a mosaic tile backsplash and wide-plank wood floors.
