2024 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Addition Under $250,000
The goal for this addition was to add a spacious and bright kitchen with roomy seating island and ample work centers. To create volume, the ceilings would be vaulted with skylights. The cabinets were outfitted with storage access solutions and large drawers, an induction cooktop with a hood, and wall ovens. The views shifted to the private backyard and hill views by relocating the access point from a widened and modernized entry foyer. The wood-burning living room fireplace was replaced with a double-sided linear gas unit. Existing hardwood floor were extend throughout the addition.
