The homeowner wanted to build a functional outdoor living area that would combine his love of cigars and poolside lounges. To achieve this, the existing pool, deck area, and surrounding grass areas were demolished. The new space includes custom built-in pool bar stools, a tanning deck, and pool. The new travertine deck area is twice as large as before. The covered patio portion is now four times as large and includes A/V and lighting systems controlled by mobile apps. The outdoor kitchen caps off this backyard escape. The area is perfect for smoking cigars, watching football, and having family gatherings.
