2024 Regional CotY Award Winner, Commercial Interior
A local church rooted in community, group teaching, and public outreach, sought to modernize their dated building to accommodate their expanding congregation. They desired spatial flexibility for both small and large groups; from wedding receptions to small religious ministry, sound management, and a centralized caf� for gathering. By employing moveable interior partitions, flexibility combined with sound attenuation was achieved. The design offers a large spatial footprint that can be sub-divided into two smaller classrooms with a lounge and coffee bar. Code compliance for fire and ADA inclusive of an accessible ramp, elevator, and updated restrooms completed the building transformation.
