This project involved converting a 20-year-old buffet kitchen inside a truck stop into a modern food court with three national-brand quick service restaurants. The convenience store remained open throughout construction of the new facilities and a schedule was set for 14 weeks for the full project. Though the client increased the project’s scope by more than 33 percent once work began, the project came in on time and on budget.
