2016 Region 1 Northeast CotY Award Winner, Residential Interior Over $150,000
The layout of this early 1990s home was adequate for the husband when he was a batchelor, but the space became confined and inadequate for the family of three and their loving cat. The clients contacted us to discuss their options for making the home feel more spacious. After a few weeks of design/engineering, we opened up the first floor to increase the size of the rooms while creating continuity with adjoining rooms. A once tired and confined layout became a spacious, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing space to live and entertain.
