2017 Region 4 East Central CotY Award Winner, Residential Addition Over $250,000
The clients had a growing family, a sprawling ranch home and a desire for a front entry. The existing bedroom wing was insufficient for the growing family, and far from the home’s center of gravity. The new design added a second floor for two bedrooms, one bathroom and a sitting room, while simultaneously improving the home’s street presence. A dramatic open staircase can be seen from the new foyer, the enlarged breakfast room and from the outside. The old monochromatic brick ranch is now enhanced with complementary colors, textures and visual interest.
