This project transformed a dark, outdated kitchen and two underutilized adjacent spaces-a dining room niche and laundry room-into functional, efficient areas for an open-concept kitchen. The kitchen, redesigned due to the client's love of cooking and work with chef Kenji Lopez-Alt, was overhauled with a new layout, custom storage, enhanced refrigeration, and layered lighting. The dining niche was integrated into the kitchen with custom cabinetry and display shelving, while the laundry room gained built-in cabinetry, shelving, and a folding counter, making both areas practical, organized, and visually harmonious.
