2025 Regional RotY Award Winner, Residential Architectural Design Over 500 sq ft
This colonial center hall, built in 1929, sits a short walk from the bustling downtown on a quiet, tree-lined street. It is ideally located for a family who loves to walk everywhere. This contractor immediately understood their desire to stay in the existing home while designing a layout more conducive to enjoying life, cooking, and entertaining. A top priority was a spacious, sunny, eat-in kitchen, a mudroom with storage, and a small butler's pantry. In addition, they sought to transform the dining room into a cozy library. The design proposal included a kitchen addition and reorganization of the existing space.
