This 1954 lakeside walk-out basement, rich in Mid-Century Modern character, was transformed to support the homeowners’ creative lifestyles. The renovation prioritized flexible spaces, abundant storage, and aesthetic cohesion. Extensive updates included new terrazzo flooring, custom cabinetry, and tailored workspaces. A dark, cluttered workroom became a bright crafting haven with a walnut sewing table, lake-view windows, and artistic cabinetry. The guest room now doubles as an office with a custom walnut closet and Murphy bed. A gallery hallway showcases travel memories, while the family room features an artisan room divider. The result is a stunning, functional space perfectly suited to the homeowners' needs.
