McCray Lumber & Millwork named 2017 NARI Distributor of the Year

Each year during the NARI Spring Business Meeting, the Distributor of the Year Award recognizes distributors who have demonstrated a strong commitment to NARI and the professional remodeling industry. The 2017 Distributor of the Year is no different. An active member of the Kansas City NARI chapter, this year’s winner has demonstrated their commitment to Remodeling Done Right.


Our 2017 winner is a company who is strongly committed to NARI and has established quite a presence in their local chapter. They have been corporate sponsors for NARI events; had a number of employees serve on NARI committees; and one member has even served in multiple capacities for the local board. They are enthusiastic about member-to-member networking, participating in events such as monthly luncheon chapter meetings, the annual golf tournament, tailgating party and membership drive.

They’ve recruited multiple local builders and distributors to NARI; have donated thousands of dollars in material to their local Habitat for Humanity; and, most important, have encouraged and promoted workforce development in the area to help address the labor shortage facing the remodeling industry.
