2021 National/Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Kitchen $60,001 to $100,000
The clients desired a more functional kitchen design that would include better flow and a connection to the living room and breakfast nook. This family with two busy teenagers also needed a kitchen that could accommodate up to four people doing separate tasks, and a breakfast bar for each family members’ morning routines. A cook’s kitchen design was the ultimate goal for their love of entertaining, cooking, and baking, while a coastal vibe was the targeted aesthetic to create a sense of casualness and relaxation. To open the space, two walls and the pantry were demoed, allowing for two islands and a banquet style breakfast nook.
