We modernized this outdated 1990s kitchen to take advantage of gorgeous lake views. To achieve this, we installed four windows, which replaced the upper cabinets overlooking the lake. A 48-inch Thermador gas/convection oven range with a custom-made copper hood replaced the electric cook-top and ovens. The laundry room was converted into a walk-in pantry. A matching refrigerator and freezer replaced the sub-zero fridge and desk to create a frame for the pantry pocket door. The existing island was replaced with a larger island. Custom cabinets, marble counter-tops, a copper farm sink, new lighting and tile back-splash completed the transformation.
