Our client wanted to remodel her outdated kitchen, which had pressboard cabinets, damaged laminate countertops, stippled ceilings, aged tile floors and crumbling grout. Major obstacles were encountered along the way, due to a 14-day timeline; the removal/relocation of a load bearing beam running the length of the upper cabinet soffit; the elimination of the existing cantilever section housing the sink base cabinets to prevent frozen water pipes; and a very tight budget. In the end, superior craftsmanship with materials such as maple cabinetry, granite tops and hickory floors created a truly noteworthy transformation.
