Though the home was built fairly recently in 2004, the layout, styling and materials just weren’t working for the homeowner. The client desired an open layout, attractive finishes and character other than the existing builder grade materials, resulting in a major overhaul of the home’s first floor. Major engineering allowed for walls to be removed between the kitchen and family room, dining room and den, as well as completely moving the powder room. In addition, the master bedroom was extended to allow for a larger master closet and bedroom while also updating the master bath.
