The clients live in a quaint suburban neighborhood with traditional aesthetics. They had an outdated kitchen with inadequate storage and an inconvenient workflow, and a drafty sunroom. They desired a more open floor plan with better flow in the kitchen, multiple seating areas, and no cooktop in the island. Insulating the sunroom was a priority as well. To improve the workflow and layout, the laundry was relocated, a two-tier island installed, and a better cooking triangle created for entertaining. This contemporarry kitchen is now a space with a more modern style floor plan for entertaining 20-to-30 guests regularly.
