Our clients wanted to remodel their drab, 528 square foot, finished basement into an amazing new recreation area for entertaining. To add a dynamic element to the space, we incorporated custom woodwork throughout, including wainscoting, a custom media center, a custom bar with floating shelves, two-step crown molding, a fireplace with a custom wood mantle, hand-scraped wood flooring and, finally, wood veneers and risers over their existing basement steps. Overall, the emphasis on woodwork made a truly significant transformation to the lower level.
