This home in Saint Paul’s historical designation district pre-dates building permits, and is estimated to have been constructed in 1882. Through the years, multiple additions were added, and the home was separated into single-room rentals. This whole home renovation aimed to create a modern, open floor plan for today’s owners and preserve and emphasize the historical charm and design details of the original construction. During the extensive remodel and addition work, hand-painted billboard signage was uncovered and incorporated into the home’s design.
