This historic home received a new rear addition to add a master suite with master bathroom and closet space, and expand and renovate the kitchen. A basement expansion was also part of the project scope. The home’s original floor plan included a very small galley kitchen, small dining room and living room areas and had an insufficient number of bedrooms. Before beginning, the two-story addition with basement build-out required approval from the historic board for this home built in 1942. The historic charm was maintained while adding modern conveniences for this project.
