2018 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Historical Renovation/ Restoration $250,000 and Over
The goal was to restore a 136-year-old cream city brick farmhouse to its original appearance. Reconstruction included fabrication of the front and rear porch. All eaves were historically rebuilt and the exterior materials are maintenance free. All windows were replaced using custom-built clad units fit from the exterior to preserve the interior casing. Copper flashings were added according to the original design. The brick exterior was carefully washed and re-grouted. The field stone walls were re-tuckpointed with white mortar. Accurate historic colors enhanced the classic design of this 19th century beauty.
