This 1925 home was renovated and a second story added in 1980. Unfortunately, improperly installed windows and insulation caused severe rotting, which was discovered during the sales inspection. In addition to restoring the structural integrity of the home, the new owners wanted a new exterior with a modern feel that fit into the neighborhood. The angular lines of this exterior renovation create a more modern appearance while the architectural design creates more texture and depth. The integration of natural wood siding balanced the ultra-modern design with the warmth of the wooded, mature neighborhood.
