The original bathroom was brought to life by streamlining and opening the design. The homeowner wanted to enlarge the room, but the floor plan did not allow it. Her garden tub was replaced by a large tiled shower with a seat and pebble mosaic floor. Natural light now washes through the large privacy window, across the glass enclosure, and throughout the room. Storage capacity was increased with drawer banks. By reducing walls that obstructed sight lines, the whole room is now visible from almost anywhere one stands. A delicate chandelier adds a sense of enchantment to an otherwise forgotten space.
