This client desired an updated, luxurious basement bathroom that reflected his style and solved a few functional issues in the existing space. A freestanding tub with a large lineaer niche for bath esssentials is the focal point of the room. Warm grey porcelain tile in a subtle linear pattern was placed behind the tub and on the floors. A custom floating vanity in a cognac brown finish and marbled quartzite top rests below a tiled wall backsplash set in a textural Herringbone volacanic lava stone mosaic. The final product improved functionality through a better layout and features aesthetics created with high-end materials and plumbing fixtures.
