This renovation modified the master bathroom of an American Veteran with ALS returning from his numerous tours of duty. To accommodate this hero’s progressing symptoms, the bathroom was completely opened up. The concrete was chipped out for an open roll-in shower with a granite bench, grab bars, over-sized rain shower and handheld shower. To accommodate a handicapped lift, the ceiling was reinforced and a cut out above the entry door was made. A two-way mirror barn door smoothly glides over this opening. An over-sized waterfall countertop protects the custom vanity from water damage from the open shower. Espresso-stained custom cabinetry, LED lighting, and tile installed on the floor, walls and ceiling finish the space.
