2019 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Addition Over $250,000
The clients, who live on a cul-de-sac, wanted a large kitchen and island, but did not have space in their existing floor plan. They desired a contemporary addition with no direct views from the family room. They also wanted to enlarge the family room and move the dining area closer to it, relocate the laundry and open the stairwell on the kitchen side. The biggest challenge to this project was working with an angled site. The end result met all their requests. The focal point of the new kitchen is an angled island with darker cabinets, marble countertop and large pendant lights. The original kitchen was converted into a wet bar.
