An old dilapidated addition was rehabilitated to match and complement the existing home for an aging-in-place client. The new addition retains the existing footings, slabs and a partial wall to minimize costs. The trim and moldings were selected to tie in with the original period of the house, and a rear flagstone patio was added to enhance the backyard’s allure. The interior is comprised of a master bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet, and a new mudroom, all of which meet ADA requirements for wheelchair accessibility. The functionality and quality of construction make for a beautiful addition to the original home.
