These homeowners wanted to resolve the drainage and flooding issues in their small backyard and create multiple entertaining areas that matched the interior home remodel, which features sleek, clean and minimalistic lines. To meet these demands, elevations were changed and concrete was poured in large square blocks with river rock in-between to control the drainage issues. Low maintenance decking replaced the rest of the grass in the backyard. The finished space includes multiple seating areas, an outdoor kitchen, lighting, different patina metal walls and areas, a wooded overhead structure that holds a large metal ceiling fan and a "green" living wall garden.
