The clients wanted privacy from the street, but weren’t allowed to erect a tall fence. They also were tired of the giant evergreens that stole space and produced too much shade. To resolve the need for privacy from the street, a series of tall, free-standing art panels were created and can be closed as a privacy gate. The existing pond was reduced in size to add a sitting area with a grand stone fireplace and two double-sided living wall systems. The patio combines natural stone and synthetic turf.
