These clients wanted a place they could call their forever home. The scope of the project was a full first-floor remodel that would open up the space into one that's fit for entertaining, as well as a major exterior remodel. The design strategy was to create a space that served comfort, functionality, and warmth. The focus was to create cohesion between the kitchen, dining room, and living room; these areas were closed off to each other. The floorplan and material selections served to create a light and open space that is prepared for guests.
