This whole house renovation began when the owners decided to renovate, rather than relocate, to remain on the property they had spent years cultivating. The home interior features subtly nuanced warm and cool neutrals with quartersawn white oak flooring and beams, providing a modern but inviting atmosphere. The exterior features exposed sapele beams, stone, and other natural elements. Wide spans of tall windows, along with a network of decks with cable railing, allow for ample views. What started as a simple gable house with small, dark rooms is now a spacious and light-filled retreat overlooking the grounds.
