2022 Regional CotY Award Winner, Entire House $750,001 to $1,000,000

Built in the late 1800s, this New Orleans home sits on a rare double lot within a registered National Historic District. The owners’ goal was to add space and update the house but maintain the historic character. The side yard allowed for a substantial addition on the left side and a smaller addition on the right side. The original architectural elements remained and required varying degrees of restoration, including stair parts, trim, and windows. New exterior doors and windows were milled to match the existing, making the addition appear seamless with the original historic part of the house.
