This 1952 gem was restored and remodeled in one of the few Midcentury modern developments left in Northern Virginia. An addition in the front of this mid-century modern post and beam home transformed the entry, façade and interior of the kitchen and living space. The home was converted to a three bedroom, three bathroom home. Existing elements such as the original hardwood floors and wood ceiling were revitalized and modern features such as modern kitchen cabinetry and Miele appliances added. The exterior features a new butterfly roof, site-built fir windows, Ipe slat board cladding and Ipe decking off the front stoop.
