This entire home renovation project gave a well-maintained 25-year-old Midwest residence a 21st Century refresh. Approximately 70 percent of this 3,260-square-foot home was remodeled over six months. Three small additions added a dining room, pool bath and an indoor/outdoor fireplace. The home also received a new roof, front entry, kitchen, laundry room, mudroom, powder room, great room, hallway, loft and full bathroom. The home's original builder-grade appliances, lighting, flooring and finishes were updated in all of the remodeled spaces and customized to the homeowner’s lifestyle and tastes. Major obstacles included the weather and the client's firm deadline for a party.
