2018 Regional CotY Award Winner, Commercial Specialty

This county library, which originally opened in 1989, was ready to undergo a series of improvements to provide better aesthetics and building flow for its 70,000 cardholders. To accomplish this required renovating the existing East and West entrances, converting an existing rotunda into reading areas, expanding meeting and study rooms, and reconfiguring the library’s floor plan. Other updates include a technology training lab, new carpet, updated heating and air conditioning systems, and relocated restrooms. Additionally, the building’s exterior received new LED lighting, sidewalks, and mature landscaping improvements.
