Vitae Spirits Distillery and Tasting Room embraced its educational roots by transforming a two-story brick schoolhouse into a lesson in science. The founder brought technical expertise as well as a focus on purity to the table, resulting in a space that balances efficiency and aesthetic cleanliness. The spirit production process is visible through glass partitions and diagrammed onto the walls through botanical murals, while the interior architecture echoes that exposed process through tangible steel, wood and concrete elements. Situated between industrial and residential zones, Vitae offers a refreshing contemporary setting for an age-old technique.
