Verona, Wisconsin
2018 National CotY Award Winner, Commercial Interior
When a France-based software company had to select a new home for their Wisconsin headquarters, they chose an existing structure with great bones in desperate need of reconfiguration and updating. Vacant for several years, this former bank was the perfect candidate for a fresh design. After removing the bank vault, raised flooring, and more than two dozen walls, the segmented office space was converted into an open-office concept for 275 employees. The design includes a new grand entrance. Project goals centered around attracting software development talent through collaborative spaces with natural lighting and unique local influences such as barnwood, quarry stone, and artwork.
