The clients wanted their lower level entertaining space to feel like a cool Manhattan bar. The existing traditional look was good for other people but they wanted more, including wine storage for over 3,000 bottles of wine, a professional quality gym and updated bathroom finishes. Orienting the bar to the lounge area creates a great entertainment space. Sleek horizontal bands of cabinets, combined with color blocking, anchor the bar. Cool marble and porcelain tile details along with quartz countertops with waterfall edges complete the sleek look. A combination of a peg system, wine racks and traditional wine cabinets creates a great wine cellar.
