When this homeowner became ill with a disabling disease, accommodations were needed in the couple’s split level home. The couple desired an elegant addition for a master bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet and sunroom. Two large passageways to a new atrium serve as the transition from the original home to the new space. The new master bedroom includes wide door openings with pocket doors and mid-wall height dimmer switches. The sitting room includes an accessible desk and remote controlled fireplace. The bathroom has a wall mounted sink, support bars, non-slip vinyl tiles on the floor, an accessible shower and tub.
