2019 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Kitchen $60,001 to $100,000
The clients wanted a kitchen with new fixtures and finishes that brought more function without dramatically changing the footprint. Their existing kitchen had limited storage, aging finishes and fixtures, and a wall that separated the island from the entry. The support wall was replaced with an engineered beam to improve flow. The new layout maximizes counter space, features floating corner shelves and an island finished with maple cabinetry that stands out from the white cabinets. The use of light whites, blues and browns helps make the space feel modern, airy and open. The repetition of maple on the exterior doors, trim, shelves and bar top help the space feel well-designed and intentional.
