This project entailed returning a Victorian home back to a single-family dwelling. The clients wanted a functional, upscale and up-to-date home. Walls were moved, doorways opened and the rear wing of the house reworked to accomplish this. The small apartment kitchen also was removed, and the larger kitchen was remodeled, along with the guest bathroom and the half bath. A mudroom and a new bathroom were added to the rear wing, and the office was expanded and remodeled. New windows, doors, electrical and plumbing were installed along with updated mechanicals. The floors were repaired and replaced or refinished as well.
