2018 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Interior Under $75,000
This 1920s Craftsman-style home had beautiful woodwork and character, but needed updating. The space most in need of renovation was the three-season porch. It was disconnected from the rest of the home, uncomfortable due to improper heating and cooling, and wasn’t aesthetically pleasing. The homeowner desired a space to use year-round that looked original to the home. To harmonize with the Craftsman-style details found throughout, the wall dividing the living room from the sunroom was removed and a custom built-in room divider was created. The result is a beautiful, bright sunroom with better flow that added usable square footage to the home without building an addition.
