The objective of this remodel was to improve the exterior appeal of the house and to increase the outdoor living space. To achieve this, a screened-in porch and deck was built so the owners could comfortably enjoy the outdoors and view. Larger dormers were also added to the second story bedrooms to improve their function. New energy efficient windows and blue Hardi board siding were also incorporated.The design created a gradual transition from the interior of the house to the upper deck, then to the lower deck and to the exterior grounds.
