2019 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Exterior Under $100,000
This home was originally a pole barn that had been converted into a home years prior. The goal was to make it as spacious as possible within the original floor plan’s limited square footage and to make sure it felt more like a home than a converted barn. To achieve this, the house was re-sided with classic board-and-batten siding, new white gridded windows and cedar wood accents. Each side of the house had openings under the old existing barn structure. One side was tranformed into an enclosed barn with two cedar barn doors, while the other became a screened-in porch.
