The clients wanted the existing screen porch demolished and replaced with a much larger and more sophisticated one, equipped with a stone wall gas fireplace, and stone wall with embedded TV. The new space also features a cathedral ceiling and jacuzzi on the upper deck. Creating the lower patio required excavating two feet down, building a few short retaining walls, and installing a surrounding French drain prior to pouring in a concrete slab and installing the flagstone patio. The corner wood burning fireplace chimney has become the focal point and a place for everyone to gather around.
