2019 Regional CotY Award Winner, Residential Bath $75,001 to $100,000
The second floor of this 1909 Craftsman felt compartmentalized and tight. The owners longed for a larger master bathroom that was functional and inviting. The bathroom had a small footprint, dated finishes and lacked adequate storage and countertop space. Borrowing space from the small adjacent bedroom helped create a luxurious master bath with a separate bathing room and water closet. A dramatic vaulted ceiling with a skylight illuminates the room housing the red cedar handcrafted Japanese soaking tub. Turquoise Heath wall tile used throughout connects the spaces, and an expansive concrete countertop on the custom cherry cabinetry help finish this beautiful and functional space.
