2016 Region 4 East Central CotY Award Winner, Residential Bath Over $100,000
In this bathroom remodel, the homeowner wanted to keep the position of the existing window; incorporate Corinthian columns and a fountain for the tranquil sound of trickling water; no disturbance to the wine cellar below; and install a shower with steam and aroma therapy. To incorporate the Corinthian columns, additional walls were built up to create an alcove for the tub. The fountain was recessed in the wall behind the tub. For a better layout, we repositioned the water closet door and enlarged and moved the shower to the other side of the room. Steam and aroma therapy systems were included in the shower as well.
