The clients’ existing home consisted of divided interior spaces, misplaced stairs and a small garage. They desired a larger garage to accommodate a wood working passion, an open floor plan for better entertaining and more space overall. The home was transformed with a two-story addition in the Arts & Crafts style. Improvements include a large great room with open plan kitchen placed in the rear of the home; a large master bedroom that overlooks the backyard; and an expanded garage for wood working. A new den, foyer and porch were added to the front of the home and the stairs were reconfigured at an angle for better circulation as well.
